Dear Guests,
I am the owner of a Venetian palazzetto, built in the fifteenth century, lavishly restored in the last few years. I have four double bedrooms, and I offer ‘bed and breakfast’ accommodation to guests visiting this most magical city.
Within the house, I have my own apartment, and I believe that time of your stay in Ca'. Malcanton will feel private for all of us. Apart of your private bedroom and bathroom, you are welcome to enjoy the common parts of the house and treat it (within reason) as your home.
Breakfast is served at around 8.30am. You are welcome to get up later, yet the croissants are the best warm. Breakfast is fairly simple ‘continental' style, consisting of of tea / coffee, cereal, yoghurt, croissants and fruit salad served in the dining room. Please note that I do not offer use of the kitchen or cooking facilities.
I hope that guests will feel comfortable and at home at Ca' Malcanton. After a hard day’s foot-slogging around the museums, churches and galleries or keeping the local bars and restaurants in business or simply window shopping and taking in the sights, the chances are that you will be in need of relaxation before venturing forth again. And what better place to do so than in the garden with a drink and listening to the evening serenade of gondolas gliding by!
Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the dining room at all times. The sitting room and garden are available to guests. There is also free Wi-Fi, TV, stereo and even a small concert piano in the sitting room for those who wish to practice their scales!
All four bedrooms have their own private bathroom, three of them en-suite. There is a daily room service, except on Sunday or Italian national holidays.
If you are interested in coming to stay, please write to me using the “Contact Us” page on this site or email or phone directly using the numbers displayed.
I look forward to hearing from you and to hosting you in Ca' Malcanton.
